Fantasy Flight Games has announced the fall 2010 release of Wardens of the North, the second reinforcement set for its Battle of Westeros, a board game set in the world of George R.R. Martin’s Song of Fire and Ice novels (see “Battle of Westeros”).  Just as the previously announced Wardens of the West provides reinforcements for House Lannister in its quest to secure the Iron Throne, so Wardens of the North provides House Stark with major support.

The Battle of Westeros: Wardens of the North set adds more Stark Commanders and units to the Stark forces of the Battle of Westeros Core Set, including the formidable Smalljon Umber, loyal Roderick Cassel, and the resourceful Galbart Glover.

The deluxe Wardens of the North box set includes a new Battle Plans book, 32 plastic figures, 32 cards, 8 terrain overlays, and 18 tokens.
