The Alderac Entertainment Group has announced the October release of the Thunderstone: Heart of Doom and Nightfall: Blood Country--expansions for the two popular AEG deck-building games. Thunderstone: Heart of Doom includes seven new heroes, 13 new village cards, five new monster groups, rules and card dividers. Heart of Doom features a battle with Doom, including a special scenario to bring war to the ultimate evil.
AEG has revealed the details concerning previously announced
Nightfall: Blood Country release (MSRP $29.99, see “
Nightfall: Blood Country”), which will include 168 new cards with exciting abilities and innovative new card effects that change the game like never before. The
Blood Country expansion is playable as a stand-alone game, but it is also fully compatible with all previous
Nightfall sets and can be confined to great effect with the two previous
Nightfall releases. It includes card dividers that allow players to combine cards from
Blood Country with those from
Nightfall and
Nightfall: Martial Law with ease.
The Nightfall: Blood Country release includes 84 minion cards, 84 action cards, 24 draft cards, 24 card dividers, and a rulesheet.
