Tasty Minstrel Games will release a new undersea research game AquaSphere, designed by Stefan Feld, in December.
The game is currently seeking funding in a 10 day abbreviated Kickstarter, and has raised $41,735 from 868 backers ($48.08/backer average) as of this writing, with 7 days to go.
Designed by Stefan Feld (The Castles of Burgundy, Brugge, Amerigo, Rialto), the game also boasts development by Ralph Bruhn of Hall Games (Istanbul, Rialto, Il Vecchi) and art by Dennis Lohausen, who has done artwork for several award winning games including Village, Camel Up, and Terra Mystica. The box contains 20 Crystals, 15 Octopods, 8 People (2 in 4 player colors), 24 Submarines (6 in 4 player colors), 64 Robots (16 in 4 player colors), 8 player counters (2 in 4 player colors), a 6-tile research station board, a headquarters board, 4 player boards, 41 research cards, 3 setup overviews, 7 program cards, 7 programming tiles and rules.
