The New York Times covered Days of Wonder's Ticket to Ride board game in an illustrated article in last Sunday's 'Business' section that does a nice job of laying out the history of the company and the basic features of the game.

Days of Wonder co-founder Mark Kaufman explains how the game appeals to current short attention spans, with a 30-60 minute playing time and only three minutes required to learn the rules.

The article describes the game's primary distribution channel as, 'specialty stories, where Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts while away the hours,'  making it 'the board game equivalent of an indie rock group that makes good--...always doomed to play clubs, not arenas.'

The first printing of 10,000 copies has sold out, and a second printing of 10,000 has been ordered.
