ICv2 has learned that two up-and-coming board game companies are in the process of merging.  Although all the details have not yet been worked out, Eagle Games of Plainfield, Illinois and Uberplay Entertainment LLC of Issaquah, Washington have signed a letter of intent to merge the two companies.  A spokesperson for Uberplay told ICv2 that the two companies have complementary strengths and will be a good fit both in terms of product lines and in sales and marketing activities.  At this point no decisions have been made about the possible consolidation of the two companies at one location or the ways in which the corporate responsibilities would be divided if the merged company continues to maintain two locations.
