Wizards of the Coast has announced the October release of its Xiaolin Showdown Collectible Card Game, which is based on the popular animated series on the highly rated Kids' WB Network.  Aimed at boys and girls from 8-12 the game allows players to assume the roles of the four Xiaolin monks in training as they battle for possession of 'Shen Gong Wu' -- special magical artifacts such as the 'two-ton tunic,' which will allow them to dominate the game.

The Xiaolin Showdown CCG, which will be released in the standard starters and boosters format, will debut in October shortly after the Xiaolin Showdown animated series gets a coveted daily slot in the Kids' WB afternoon animated block (see 'Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, The Batman Return').
