Wizards of the Coast is planning to follow up its Revenge of Sith Expansion for the Star Wars Trading Card Game (which ships on April 2nd, six weeks before the movie opens on May 19th) with another key Star Wars TCG expansion, Rise of the Empire.  Rise of the Empire, which ships in late summer, is intended to bridge the gap between the end of Revenge of the Sith (Episode 3) and the first film in the original Star Wars Trilogy and it contains a number of new characters as it fills in this major gap in the Star Wars timeline.

The Revenge of the Sith Expansion, which is based on the final Star Wars film, includes 120 new cards, 110 of which feature images from the Revenge of Sith film.
