Palladium has announced that it will publish a new version of its Rifts core book, tentatively titled Ultimate Rifts, at Gencon this August to celebrate the game's 15th anniversary.  The new version will have new cover and interior art, and will be completely rewritten, with streamlined rules, by Rifts creator Kevin Siembieda.  It will be completely compatible with previously published materials. 

Palladium is currently soliciting input as to whether a trade paperback or hardcover format will be preferable to its customers.
