Mongoose Publishing has announced some key role-playing releases for September including Conan: Argos & Zingara, Babylon 5: The Trouble with Drazi, Runequest: Legendary Heroes and Runequest: Cults of Glorantha.

 

Conan: Arthos & Zingara (MSRP $29.95) is a 160-page, full color hardcover sourcebook for the Conan RPG that is recommended for mature readers (16 and up).  Arthos & Zingara are the dominant maritime nations of the Hyborian age and this volume includes expanded gazetteers for each nation as well as additional information about the cult of Mitra, which was introduced in detail in Conan: Faith & Fervor.

 

Babylon 5: The Trouble with Drazi ($9.95) is a 32-page full color scenario book about the most powerful race in the League of Non-Aligned Worlds.  The Trouble with Drazi takes players deeper into the brutal Drazi society than they may have ever wanted -- it is intended for a group of four or five 1st or 2nd level player characters.

 

Mongoose has two Runequest books for September, Legendary Heroes ($24.95), a 96-page black-and-white hardcover sourcebook, and Cults of Glorantha ($24.95) a 160-page full color hardcover, which allows players to rise in power through the cults they join, gaining access to powers as the become eligible to bear the title RunePriest or RuneLord.
