Mongoose Publishing has announced a September launch for its new Flaming Cobra imprint, which will include a variety of RPG books, most of which have only been available in PDF format previously. Three Flaming Cobra volumes are due in September, including Secret Societies ($24.95) a d20 sourcebook with stats and rules with which players can add 6 popular real world secret societies to their games; The Immortals Handbook ($24.00), a collection of over 40 truly epic monsters ranging from CR 10 to beyond CR 1000; and The World on Fire ($34.95), a brand new RPG setting for Spycraft 2.0, which takes players into the daring realm of dystopian espionage.
In November Mongoose will publish Libem Liborium ($24.95), the most comprehensive guide to books and tomes available to d20 players. It will include a complete random book generator that will allow players to generate 100s of unique books plus loads of new spells, fifteen feats & skills, five new prestige classes, eight new monsters, and four new deities.
Mongoose will also publish the English version of the Extreme Fantasy: Nephandum d20 game under the Flaming Cobra imprint -- and although the book was originally scheduled for October (see 'Mongoose's October RPG Release'), the $34.95, 160-page, full color volume has been rescheduled for February.
