Gen Con LLC has announced a licensing agreement with Eventions Creative Event Management Pty Ltd. to put on a licensed Gen Con gaming convention in Australia.  The event is scheduled to launch on July 3, 2008 and run for four days at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Queensland.

Gen Con's flagship show, Gen Con Indy, is North America's largest hobby gaming convention, but hardly the only event to carry the Gen Con name. Gen Con LLC has expanded its efforts to include a Gen Con So Cal show in Anaheim, California as well as two international shows, one in Paris and one in the U.K.
