Northeast Games has announced the Dark Union Expansion for the Mystical Empires Collectible Card Game.  In stark contrast to the first Mystical Empires Expansion, The Reckoning, which features Angels and Dragons, the 100-card Dark Union Expansion includes only one positive 'builder' character, the highly requested Dagan the Architect.  All the other cards represent vampires, demons, skeletons and Zombies.

The Dark Union cards also feature 33% more space dedicated to the artwork thanks to the removal of a gray border. The new cards also carry  'reminder' notes in the text explaining the new rules and eliminating the need to consult the rulebook with ever increasing frequency.  In addition the Dark Union Expansion adds a new 'Vampiric' mechanic that adds a new level of intrigue and excitement to the game.

Northeast Games plans to release the Dark Union Expansion in November.
