Dinomania, the highly detailed series of miniatures from Kaiyodo of Japan, is now available to pop culture retailers across the country. Davis Marketing Services is taking orders for the first series of 24 unique dinosaur models. The ready-to-assemble figures come randomly packaged in eye-catching triangular boxes, which also include a collector sticker, collector guide and two pieces of HUA hard chocolate candy. These collectible figures have become a big hit in Japan, where more than 20 million units have been sold (see 'Invasion of the Japanese Collectable Dinosaurs').
The suggested retail price of each miniature dinosaur is $4.95. The easy to assemble extinct reptile figures come packaged in an attractive counter display unit containing 27 pieces. The wholesale price of each display unit is $67.50, and the minimum order is 3 counter displays for a total of $202.50, plus shipping. An acryllic display case, which contains all 24 dinosaurs from Series One, is available for $45.
