FUNimation Entertainment is moving its headquarters from North Richland Hills, Texas to Flower Mound, Texas and nearly doubling its space from 25,000 square feet in its current digs to 48,000 square feet in its new building, which it will have entirely to itself.  FUNimation, which is a subsidiary of the Navarre Corporation, had a very good year during Navarre's fiscal 2006 posting a 47.8% gain in sales (see 'FUNimation Posts 47.8% Gain').  FUNimation was the leader in market share among American anime companies for 2006 and has maintained that leadership position through the first five months of 2007.  FUNimation's re-mastered Dragon Ball Z Season 1 DVD Box Set was the best-selling anime sku in North America so far in 2007.

A spokesman for FUNimation told ICv2 that the company's new facilities would include ample facilities for dubbing and editing and would represent a considerable upgrade in capacity for the company, which has been expanding its efforts to include live action films (Shinobu) as well as a number of other non-anime projects.
