J-Pop superstar TM Revolution will be a guest of honor at the New York Comic Con and give his first concert in America since 2004 on April 19th, 2008 at the 3000-seat IGN Theater. TM Revolution (Takanori Nishikawa) provided the theme songs for Gundam Seed ('Invoke') and Gundam Seed Destiny ('Ignited') as well as 'Heart of Sword,' the ending theme from the Rurouni Kenshin anime. He has also created the theme song for the Soul Eater anime series that debuts this spring in Japan.
In addition to serving as the venue for the TM Revolution concert, the IGN Theater will also play host to screenings of feature films (for example, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo, see 'NYCC Announces First Screenings') as well as the panels spotlighting NYCC Guests of Honor including (so far) Mike Mignola, Alex Ross, and Bryan Hitch.
