Jackie Earle Haley, who played Rorshach in Watchmen, has been signed to play Freddy Krueger in the re-launch of Nightmare on Elm Street, according to Variety.  The Platinum Dunes production (see “Freddy’s Back”) starts shooting next month in Chicago.
