Hobbit director Peter Jackson announced that the last shot of the Hobbit trilogy with Gandalf, played by Ian McKellen, has been completed. The two began working together in 1999, when work on the first Lord of the Rings trilogy began.
Also wrapped was shooting with Legolas, played by Orlando Bloom, after a final day of battling an Orc for twelve hours as part of the Battle of the 5 Armies for The Hobbit: There and Back Again, the third and final film in the trilogy. A short gag video was released of Bloom "taking the Hobbits to Isengard."
