Mad Max: Fury Road will be released May 15, 2015, according to Variety.  The fourth Mad Max movie, directed by George Miller like the three earlier movies, will star Tom Hardy, who played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, and Charlize Theron.  The film began shooting last year, so it’s going to be a long haul from shooting to release. 

The film is planned as the first in a new trilogy (see "New 'Mad Max' Trilogy").
