Margot Robbie, who had her star turn in Wolf of Wall Street, is in talks to play Jane in the big budget Tarzan reboot, according to The Wrap. The film will star Alexader Skarsgard, Samuel Jackson, and Christoph Waltz, and is directed by David Yates (see "Geek Movie News Round-Up").
The prolific Simon Kinberg, who was assigned to write the Fantastic Four script in October (see "Simon Kinberg on 'Fantastic Four'"), has turned in his script and casting is about to begin, according to Variety. The scheduled release date is June 19, 2015.
Law and Order veteran Jesse L. Martin has been cast as Detective West in the CW’s Flash, according to Hollywood Reporter. He joins Grant Gustin, who will play the title role (see "Flash Cast"). West acts as a surrogate father to Barry Allen.
Thomas Kretchmann (Resident Evil) has been cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in Avengers: Age of Ultron, according to Hollywood Reporter. Von Strucker had previously been revealed as the second villain in the film (see "Baron Von Strucker in 'Age of Ultron'").
