Mezco Toyz has acquired rights to produce collectibles based on Warner Bros.’ Bugs Bunny character, the company announced. The first products will reach the market in Q3 2015.
Bugs has been around since 1938, and is recognized by 95% of people, according to a 2013 Q survey. That percentage puts Bugs in the four most popular cartoon stars in the world, and more recognizable than Santa Claus.
Mezco also recently announced another new license, for Gigantor (see "Mezco Gets 'Gigantor'").
