Writer Mark Millar has announced an auction for a store signing for the retailer that places the largest order for the upcoming trade paperback edition of Jupiter’s Circle Vol. 1 by Final Order Cut-Off.  The writer will appear “entirely at his own cost.

“I’ll have one day in whatever country I end up in so smaller stores could maybe even pull a fast one and arrange three signings in a single day, clubbing together and doing one order,” Millar said in the announcement.  “I’m happy for retailers to get as creative as they like with this one.”  

The prequel miniseries chronicles the early lives of the older generation of superheroes which appear in Jupiter’s Legacy (see “Mark Millar's 'Jupiter's Legacy' in Development”).  Jupiter’s Circle Vol. 1 releases on October 7.

Jupiter’s Circle’s second story arc, Jupiter’s Circle Vol 2 #1, will launch in November. The series will be written by Millar, with art by Wilfredo Torres, and covers by Bill Sienkiewicz.  A character design variant cover by Frank Quitely will also be available for issue #1.
