Marvel Entertainment announced it has renewed an exclusive deal with writer Jason Aaron (Star Wars, Doctor Strange, Thors).
Aaron wrote the record breaking Star Wars #1 title, which sold over 1 million copies (see "Marvel Confirms 'Star Wars' #1 Orders"). Aaron is currently writing Doctor Strange and will be writer on The Mighty Thor launching in November (see "Preview: All-New All-Different, 'The Mighty Thor'--'Web Warriors'"). Specifics of the deal were not revealed, with the announcement only saying Aaron’s stint would "continue through 2016 and beyond."
"Jason Aaron will continue to bring his big, bald beautiful brain to the Marvel Universe," said Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso. "I can finally exhale."
