'Love in Hell: Death Life,' 'Lord Marksman and Vanadis,' 'My Pathetic Vampire Life'
Seven Seas Entertainment has announced new English licenses for Lord Marksman and Vanadis, My Pathetic Vampire Life,
and Love in Hell: Death Life.
Reiji Suzumaru’s Love in Hell: Death Life is a companion series and sequel to Love in Hell (see “Supernatural Manga Trio”). The series follows a new hero and new cast of characters as the protagonist attempts to repent for his sins, which is hard to do, in the face of the demonic charms of his sexy devil guide. The first volume will release on July 19 with an MSRP of $12.99.
Based on the Japanese light novel series written by Tsukasa Kawaguchi and illustrated by Yoshio and Hinata Katagiri, the Lord Marksman and Vanadis
fantasy manga series follows a young nobleman archer, who is captured during war with a neighboring country. His female captor is one of the seven Vanadis, who rule the rival kingdom. She is so impressed with his archery skills she lets him live in exchange for servitude. But then the two must work together to stop a plot that threatens their entire world. The series has been adapted into a critically-acclaimed anime series released in the U.S. by Funimation. The first manga volume will release on September 13 with an MSRP of $12.99.
My Pathetic Vampire Life is a supernatural comedy manga series by Rose Ishikawa. Poor Koide was turned into a vampire 133 years ago at the age of 16. Now he’s caught in an repeating loop of sophomore year homework, lectures, and meaningless tests. But this year his classmates want to help him move on from his endless loop. The first volume will release on October 4 with an MSRP of $12.99.
