Comic artist Don Perlin recently underwent surgery to stop cranial bleeding, and last week underwent another surgery which removed a piece of his skull and replaced it with a Titanium plate. He is currently in rehabilitation which Medicare and his insurance do not fully cover.
Clifford Meth has organized an online fundraiser for his expenses. The fundraiser reached its $15,000 goal, but will continue to raise money to cover unexpected medical bills and further care.
Perlin is best known as the co-creator of Moon Knight, as well as for his work on Marvel’s Werewolf by Night, The Defenders, and Ghost Rider. He also worked for Valiant, and drew the original Bloodshot series (see "Valiant Collects Original 'Bloodshot'").
