In the wake of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Disney Infinity sits at number one in the "toys-to-life" category of videogame-meets-collectible-figures, according to Fortune.  According to analysis from Wedbush Securities, total Fall sales for Disney Infinity Star Wars games and toys exceed $200 million.  This moves Disney Infinity ahead of Skylander from Activision Blizzard and LEGO Dimensions from Warner Bros., both of which had sales of $150 million.

Disney: Infinity is an action-adventure sandbox video game with game figures that has characters spanning many properties; characters from Star Wars: The Force Awakens were added on December 18, 2015 to coincide with the release of the movie (see "'Disney: Infinity' Adds 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'").

The Star Wars franchise has put even more heat into the Infinity line, which has been duking it out with Skylander for the number one seat in toys-to-life (see "Disney's 'Infinity' Will Hit $1B").

Video games tied to Star Wars have generated over $1 billion in sales, led by Star Wars Battlefront, according to Fortune, with Disney Infinity and mobile games from EA (Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes), Konami (Star Wars: Force Collection) and Disney (Star Wars: Commander – Worlds in Conflict).
