Alderac Entertainment Group has announced plans to release three titles this June: Dice Heist, OctoDice, and the reimagined Guildhall Fantasy: Fellowship.
Dice Heist explores the world of international art theft, with players attempting to sneak into the most famous museums in the world and make off with priceless artwork, either by working alone or recruiting sidekicks. The player who can collect the most valuable art horde is the winner.
Dice Heist will include 15 dice and 56 cards. This game is designed for 2 to 5 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about 20 minutes. MSRP is $19.99.
In OctoDice, the players are scientists working deep below the ocean’s surface in the AquaSphere research station when the robots stop working. Now they must keep the station running while they race their competitors to be the first to complete their research.
This game includes 9 double-sided lab tiles, 6 custom dice, 16 tokens, and a scoring pad. OctoDice is for 1 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in about half an hour. MSRP is $19.99.
Guildhall Fantasy: Fellowship will be the new launching point for AEG’s set collection game, which originally released in 2012 (see "AEG's 'Guildhall'"). In this version, the theme has been converted to a more typical fantasy setting, with “adventurer guilds” competing to recruit the perfect adventuring party and sending them out to claim victory cards.
The set has 120 Profession cards, 30 victory cards, 7 reference cards, and 25 victory point tokens. It is intended for 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in half an hour. MSRP is $27.99.
Guildhall Fantasy: Fellowship will be followed by two expansion sets, released in July and August respectively: Guildhall Fantasy: Alliance and Guildhall Fantasy: Coalition. Each set can be used on its own, or combined with any or all of the other sets.
