Fantasy Flight Games will release Arkham Horror: The Card Game and A Game of Thrones – Hand of the King. Both games will arrive in Q4.

Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a new Living Card Game that blurs the line between card game and roleplaying game experience. Players have strengths and weaknesses as they enter the game to cooperatively investigate the Lovecraftian mysteries. The deck will uncover cultists and foul rituals, haunted houses and strange creatures, or even an Ancient One attempting to break into this reality.  The consequences of any one adventure can have repercussions on the overall campaign. The core set comes with three linked adventures.

The game is for 1 - 4 players (if 2 decks are used), ages 14 and up, and plays in 1 – 2 hours. MSRP is $39.95.

A Game of Thrones – Hand of the King is a fast-paced card game of cunning and maneuvering.  Players compete, using the services of Varys, the Master of Whispers, to gain influence over the Great Houses of Westeros.  The player who has the most influence at the end of the game will become the next Hand of the King.

The game is for 2 – 4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 15 – 30 minutes. MSRP is $12.95.
