Portland-based Oni Press has announced the hiring of David Dissanayake to replace the departing Shy Allot as Oni’s Sales Manager.  Dissanayake will work with VP of Marketing and Sales, Andrew McIntire to increase sales of Oni comics and graphic novels in the direct, bookstore, and library markets.  Dissanayake, who has a decade of retail experience, most recently as the manager of Mission Comics & Art in San Francisco, joins Oni after two years at Magnetic Press where he was Director of Sales and Marketing, and developed contacts in both the bookstore and library markets.
