Titan Comics will release the original graphic novel Ravina the Witch? by manga artist Junko Mizuno.

Mizuno (Cinderalla, Princess Mermaid) will both write and draw the story, which was originally published by French publisher Editions Soleil in 2014.  The dark fairytale is set on the coast of a tiny European country, where an enormous cloud of toxic fumes exists. Within the cloud, in a trash heap lives a young girl named Ravina, who is cared for by crows.  One day a dying witch gives her a mysterious magic wand, which suddenly makes the human world her plaything. How will this fledgling witch cope with her new powers?

The 48-page, full-color hardcover has an MSRP of $24.99. Release is planned for January 18, 2017.

Junko Mizuno is known for her signature Gothic kawaii style, which mixes grotesque noirish elements with a cute pop art sensibility to create an instantly indentifiable look which is on display in books like Last Gasp’s Little Fluffy Gigolo Pelu, Vol.1 (see "'Little Fluffy Gigolo Pelu'") and  Tim Pilcher’s History of Erotic Comics (see "Next 'History of Erotic Comics' in March").
