The book is written by comic book writer and historian Matthew K. Manning, and features an exclusive cover by Deadpool artist Reilly Brown. The book will also come with an exclusive print of the Brown cover. 

The book traces the history of Deadpool from a minor villain created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza to his cult phenomenon status headlining several Marvel comic books which chronicle his adventures throughout the Marvel Universe. There are interviews with artists and writers including Fabian Nicieza, Mark Waid, Joe Kelly and Reilly Brown.

The 11” x 14,” 184-page hardcover has an MSRP of $45.00.
