Spartan Games is introducing two more vehicle models for its licensed Halo: Ground Command tabletop miniatures games: the UNSC Scorpion and the Covenant Wraith tanks.

The UNSC Scorpion Tank forms the armored backbone of the UNSC forces, carried by four sets of tracks and sporting a rear-mounted overhead turret that inspires its nickname.  There are two variants of the Scorpion:  the standard battle cannon format and the “Sun Devil” anti-aircraft version.

The kit includes one Scorpion chassis and one each of the two turret variants, as well as a gunner model, assembly guide, and game stat cards for both variants.  MSRP is £29.00 (around $37.70).

Gliding effortless across the battlefield using skimmer technology, the Covenant Wraith Tank combines mobility and firepower.  Both mortar turret and anti-aircraft versions of this vehicle have been identified.

The Wraith kit comes with a single skimmer chassis and two turret variants, 1 gunner model, an assembly guide, and game stat cards for both variants.  MSRP is £29.00 (around $37.70).

Both models are sculpted from the digital models in the Halo video games, and are assembled from a combination of resin and pewter parts.  Models are supplied unpainted and unassembled.

The new vehicles continue Spartan’s series of larger support vehicle kits for the game, following the release of two dropship models earlier this summer (see “Massive Dropship Models for ‘Halo:  Ground Command’”).
