Marvel Tsum Tsum: Takeover, originally a four-issue all-ages miniseries written by Jacob Chabot and drawn by David Baldeon, follows a small group of Brooklyn teenagers as they encounter a crate of Tsum Tsum that falls to Earth en route to the Collector and their superhero counterparts. MSRP for the 120-page, full-color trade paperback is $15.99, and it will release onJanuary 25.
Tsum Tsum are a range of stackable plush toys that originated in Japan as a tie-in with popular video games. Disney introduced versions of the toys based on beloved Disney properties -- including Marvel characters -- to the United States via the Disney Store, and the line has since proliferated into other outlets and media (see “Marvel Brings Tsum Tsums To Comics”).
