Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Bumblebee, and Katana are set to square off against the Korugar Academy in DC Super Hero Girls: Intergalactic Games, an all-new feature-length animated film.
The good versus evil tale features some of the biggest heroes and villains in the DC universe facing off over the fate of the universe and Super Hero High. Intergalactic Games is set for digital HD release on May 9, with a DVD to follow on May 23. MSRP for the former varies depending on definition, and the DVD has an MSRP of $19.99.
The DC Super Hero Girls multi-platform franchise is geared for girls ages 6-12. Encompassing toys, graphic novels, digital comics and other web-based digital content, and much more, it has seen immense popularity since its launch (see “DC Super Hero Girls Print Line Expands”). In late February, the action figure line won the Toy of The Year Award in the Action Figure category from the Toy Industry Association. The next graphic novel DC Super Hero Girls: Summer Olympus will release in June, and has a free preview on Free Comic Book Day (see “DC Super Hero Girls Print Line Expands”).
