Dark Horse Comics has announced the promotion of Nick McWhorter to Chief Business Development Officer from his previous position as Vice President of Media Licensing. McWhorter has handled the licensing of media properties for Dark Horse products, including Halo, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, and Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia, among others.
McWhorter has been with the company since 2006, when he started as Special Projects Manager.
Dark Horse CEO Mike Richardson endorsed McWhorter’s fit for his new role. "His personality and communication style make him the perfect choice to work with our many licensing partners," he said.
