In Accel World, junior high kids compete in an online game that has the side effect of speeding up their thoughts. The setting was the basis for both Trial Decks and Booster Packs released earlier this year (see “‘Weiss Schwarz’ Heads for ‘Accel World’”).
Now more cards inspired by that setting will appear in Accel World – Infinite Burst. This booster expansion set will include a total of 100 card types, with 20 parallels. SP gold foil hot stamp cards featuring signatures from Japanese voice actors featured in the animated series will be randomly inserted in some packs.
Infinite Burst will be sold in eight-card packs, available in 20-pack displays. Each display will have one of four different PR cards, and each full carton of 16 displays will also have four exclusive Infinite Burst playmats.
This English language expansion does not include the gold and silver campaign coupons.
The new expansion will release about six weeks after the Attack on Titan Vol. 2 expansion (see “Bushiroad Launches ‘Attack on Titan Vol. 2’”).
