The Pokemon Company will offer a prerelease at Play! Pokemon stores in the U.S. and Canada for the Pokemon TCG: Premium Trainer’s XY Collection, its largest player collection set to date.  [Note-- this sentence was corrected at 6:50 p.m.CT 8/3/17 to clarify that it's a prerelease of the product, not an event -- ed.].

Release for The Premium Trainer’s XY Collection is scheduled for November 17.  However, stores that participate in Pokemon’s "Play! Pokemon" organized play program, and held Sun & Moon – Burning Shadows Prerelease events (and maintain eligibility for Sun & Moon – Crimson Invasion Prereleases) will be eligible to release The Premium Trainer’s XY Collection early.  Prerelease on-sale date for qualifying stores will be Friday, October 20.

Intended for Pokemon collectors, the Premium Trainer’s XY Collection includes a variety of Pokemon cards and accessories.  The set will come with special full-art foil promo cards depicting Shaymin-EX and Yveltal-EX, as well as a dozen other full-art foil promos featuring other popular Pokemon including Aegislash-EX, Jirachi, and N.  In addition to the full-art cards, the set has a pair of Pokemon XY series booster packs.

Game accessories included in the Premium Trainer’s XY Collection will be a metal Pikachu coin, two sets of 65 card sleeves emblazoned with Xerneas and Yveltal, a double deck box with those same Pokemon, two sets of tournament-ready dice, and a large kickstand storage box.  A code for the online version of the game is also included.

The Crimson Invasion expansion will also release in November (see "'Crimson Invasion' Comes to 'Pokemon'").
