Humanoids has unveiled two new titles for the November release schedule as the publisher continues a year of innovative debuts to diversify its catalog.

First up is an English language translation of 2014’s Vagues a l’ame or Waves to the Soul modified for US audiences as Adrift.  Written and illustrated by Gregory Mardon, Adrift is the story of his grandfather who left France in the 1930s to join the Navy and the various adventures he encountered on his many voyages. The 116-page back and white softcover book releases on November 15 for $14.95. It is part of Humanoids’ new Slice of Life imprint (see “Humanoids Adds Imprints”).

Next is Orion’s Outcasts.  Based on Les Decastes d’Orion from this year in France, Orion’s Outcasts collects both volumes in a slightly oversized edition.  Written by Corbeyran with art by Jorge Miguel, Orion’s Outcasts is, like Savage Highway, taken from the science fiction world of Julia Verlanger.  Focusing on the wrongly imprisoned Kolhen, this is the story of his redemption as he tries to prove his innocence, escape from prison, and seek revenge on those who wronged him.  This 96-page hardcover will be released on November 22 and retail for $29.95.

Humanoids will release three titles in October (see “Moebius and Jodorowsky's 'Incal' Gets a New Reference Guide”).
