The 10-episode scripted comedy had received a straight-to-series order in 2016 (see “Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Comes to Freeform”) and had announced major members of the cast in April (see “'The Black Company,' 'Locke & Key,' 'Wheel of Time,' 'New Warriors,' 'Defenders'”). It was originally slated to debut in 2018. Details on which networks are being approached and how the schedule will be impacted were not revealed.

A series based on another Marvel property, Cloak & Dagger, is still set to debut on Freeform in 2018 (see “'Marvel's Cloak & Dagger' Makes First Appearance”).
