Karen Berger’s line at Dark Horse Comics will spotlight the legendary Mata Hari in a five-issue miniseries. Originally announced in July (see “Dark Horse Details First 'Berger Books' Releases”), the story is written by Emma Beeby (Judge Dredd) and drawn by Ariela Kristantina (InSEXts), with colors by Pat Masioni. The first issue is in stores February 21.

Drawn from biographies and MI5 files, the story paints a portrait of a complex and polarizing woman, who was a double agent for years and ultimately met her end in front of a French firing squad.
