Warner Bros. Japan and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have unveiled a Japanese trailer for Batman Ninja.

The trailer was revealed at Tokyo Comic Con, and the existence of the English-subtitled trailer bodes well for a U.S. release announcement soon.  The project was announced at New York Comic Con in October, and a teaser trailer (see below) was released.

Takashi Okazaki, creator of the Afro Samurai manga, is the character designer for the film. Kazuki Nakashima, series scriptwriter for Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill, wrote the script. Music is done by Yugo Kanno (JoJo’S Bizarre Adventure, Psycho-Pass).  Junpei Mizusaki, the producer of the opening animation sequences for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, is the director.

The current plot synopsis on IMDB reads: Batman, along with a number of his allies and adversaries, finds himself transplanted from modern Gotham City to feudal Japan.
