Marvel’s Exiles are returning to comics courtesy of writer Saladin Ahmed (Black Bolt). Exiles is drawn by Javier Rodriguez (Spider-Woman), inked by Alvaro Lopez, colored by Jordie Bellaire, and lettered by Joe Caramagna. Rodrigues is covering the issue, and Exiles co-creator Mike McKone provided a variant for the first issue, which will be in stores on April 11.
In the series, Nick Fury, now known as the Unseen and banished to the moon, enlists original Exiles team leader Blink, Khan, Iron Lad, Wolvie, and a yet-to-be-revealed multidimensional superhero in the battle against a new threat to the multiverse.
The original Exiles series launched in 2001 and ran through 2008 for 100 issues. Chris Claremont helmed New Exiles for an 18-issue run between 2008 - 2009. In 2009, Marvel began a second volume of Exiles, but the ongoing was cancelled after six issues.
