Chip Zdarsky has signed an exclusive deal with Marvel. Zdarsky has already made his mark with the publisher as the scribe behind Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man (with Adam Kubert; see: “Zdarsky and Kubert Take Spider-Man Back to Basics”), Star-Lord (with Kris Anka; see “Preview: 'Star-Lord' #1”), and Howard the Duck (with Joe Quinones).
Zdarsky is known for his ability to write humor. The prolific writer penned Jughead for Archie Comics, netting an Eisner for Best Humor Publication in 2017 (see “'Saga' Stands Out at the 2017 Eisners”). He’s also a double threat, drawing the series Sex Criminals with writer Matt Fraction for Image Comics. He contributed cover artwork to Marvel 2-In-One, another series he writes.
