Ulisses North America and Paizo Inc. have ended their distribution relationship in North America, the companies announced. Paizo is processing orders for Ulisses product received through April 6; orders received after that time will be handled by Ulisses North America directly. The companies "will continue to work together, albeit in different capacities," the announcement said.
The relationship began back in 2015, when Paizo translated and distributed an English-language version of The Dark Eye RPG (see "Best-Selling German RPG Gets English Edition"). This year, Ulisses will become more important to the North American market when it launches its Warhammer 40K role playing game (see "Ulisses Takes Up ‘Warhammer 40,000’ Role Playing Game"). Ulisses North America recently hired Ian Starcher as Director of Business Development (see "Ulisses North America Hires Director of Business Development").
Ulisses North America parent Ullises Spiele will continue to produce the German-language versions of Pathfinder and Starfinder.
