Indie Boards and Cards and Action Phase Games were showing off upcoming releases at ACD Games Day recently.

Shogunate,  designed by Adrienna Ezell, is a card game where six great clans attempt to become the successor to the Shogun. Each player is loyal to two clans, and attempts to manipulate the line of succession so that their clan leaders earn the most honor. The game is for 3 – 6 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 20 – 25 minutes. MSRP is $20.00. Release, under the Action Phase imprint is planned for June.

The social deduction game Exodus – Paris Nouveau is designed by Martin Wallace. Players are attempting to rescue innocent citizens from the corrupt government. It’s a normal mission. Everyone has been part of this moment since it began. However, rumors are some of the team has been bought off by the hunters. The last team sent in didn’t come back.  The game is for 4 – 6 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 – 45 minutes.  MSRP is $20.00. Release is planned for September 19.

Don’t Mess with Cthulhu Deluxe  is a social deduction game where each player is either an Investigator trying to stop Cthulhu from waking, or Cultist that wants to destroy the world. Designed by Yusuke Sato, this new deluxe version includes the Necronomicon and Objects of Power expansions in the same box. The game is for 4 – 8 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $19.99. Release is planned for September 5.

Aeon’s End: Legacy is a cooperative deck building game of post-apocalyptic fantasy survival. It was Kickstarted this winter and raised more than $600,000 from more than 5,000 backers (see “'Aeon's End: Legacy'”). MSRP is $69.99 and release is planned for October 31.
