Dark Horse Comics is launching Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Comic miniseries on September 9.
Series creator Joel Hodgson is thrusting Jonah Heston, Crow T. Robot, Tom Servo, and Gypsy into the printed world of public domain comics, where their finely-honed humor skills are their only defense. The first issue cover is drawn by Todd Nauck (Wildguard, Young Justice), with a variant by MST3K DVD artist Steve Vance. The six-issue series launches in September.
Dark Horse announce the license to create the comic series and licensed merchandise last year (see "Dark Horse Partners with 'MST3K'").
