Folklore: The Affliction is a role playing style board game which saw a limited release last summer (see “‘Folklore: The Affliction’ and ‘Vengeance’ Emerge”). Greenbrier has announced 13 new products for the line, some of which will not release until 2019. The company is offering retailers an opportunity to acquire some of these items early through the Folklore Launch Kit.
The Folklore Launch Kit will include two copies of the base game plus a third copy for use with in-store demos. In addition, it will have advance copies of the World Events and Crafting & Recipes expansions, 2 Character Record Pads, 2 Encounter Record Pads, and a Story Teller screen available only through retailers. The MSRP for the Folklore Launch Kit will be $220.00.

- Dark Tales Expansion, releasing in October, MSRP $69.95.
- Miniatures Box Set, releasing in October, MSRP $59.95.
- Adventure Creation Kit, releasing in October, MSRP $19.95.
- Equipment Pack, releasing in January, MSRP $11.95.
- Tracker Card Pack, releasing in January, MSRP $9.95.
- Terrain Miniatures Pack, releasing in January, MSRP $24.95.
- Colossal Dark Oak Miniatures Pack, releasing in January, MSRP $14.95.
- Encounter Record Pad, releasing in January, MSRP $9.95.
- Character Record Pad, releasing in January, MSRP $9.95.
- World Events card pack, releasing in February, MSRP $11.95.
- Crafting & Recipes Card Pack, releasing in February, MSRP $11.95.
