High profile civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom, whose The Bloom Firm specializes in representing victims of sexual harassment and sex discrimination, among other areas of practice, has confirmed to ICv2 that she is representing a client with a claim against IDW Media Holdings. In response to a series of questions about the situation, Bloom said only, "I am representing an executive with a claim against IDW. That’s all I can confirm at this time. We expect to have more information to reveal shortly."
Her firm bio says that Bloom "...is most proud of creating and executing the media and legal strategy that brought down serial sexual harasser Bill O’Reilly."
IDW could not be reached for comment.
This is serious business for new IDW CEO Kerry McCluggage, who’s been on the job for less than a month (see "TV Exec Replaces Adams as IDW CEO"), amidst other issues that need his attention (see "IDW Publishing Sales Continue Declines, Losses Improve").
