Reavers of Midgard is a worker placement game where each player moves one worker every turn, which is activated by all the players. The player who choses the location affects other players, who receive benefits for being close to that location. Special Reaver cards allow players to gain and roll the dice according to what is indicated in the top left corner of the card. They can then specialize by rallying, leading the crew, or competing specific tasks. The game was first announced last December (see “Grey Fox Goes Viking Again with 'Reavers of Midgard'”).
The Kickstarter easily met its $15,000 goal, and has raised $166,266 from 2,126 backers ($78.21 /backer average), and will continue through November 20. There is a retailer only backer level for 6 copies of the Kickstarter edition of the game. Backer fulfillment is planned for July, with trade release to follow. MSRP was not announced.
