The first release will be League of Legends: Ashe: Warmother, an origin story of one of the first League of Legends champions. The story will be written by Riot Games writer Odin Austin Shafer with art by Nina Vakueva (Heavy Vinyl). The comic series will be released online monthly beginning December 19, with a trade paperback graphic novel published in May 2019.
Ashe is an Iceborn warrior with a magical connection to her homeland. She and her mother will journey through Freljord chasing secrets behind an ancient myth, driven by her mother’s fanatical beliefs.
