Tech TV is moving its Anime Unleashed block into primetime in March to take advantage of Geneon's excellent Last Exile anime series, which will be broadcast at 10 pm (Eastern, 9 pm Central) starting on March 8. As we stated when we originally reported the licensing of Last Exile (see 'Last Exile on Tech TV') by Tech TV, both 'the quantity and quality of anime series on American TV are increasing,' and moving the Anime Unleashed block to primetime is evidence of this growth in stature. In addition to the primetime showings during the week of March 8, Tech TV will run the first 13 episodes of Last Exile on Sunday March 14 starting at 4 pm (Eastern) and ending at 10:30 pm (Eastern).
